Find Your Smile and Self-Confidence with Cosmetic Dentistry

If you find yourself hiding a smile because of less than perfect teeth, Dr. David M. Rizk can help. Dr. Rizk and his team are highly skilled in cosmetic dentistry procedures that will have you grinning from ear to ear. From tooth whitening to full-mouth restoration, our services are sure to bring a smile to your face.

Porcelain Veneers

If you’ve been hiding your smile, isn’t it time you let it shine? With porcelain veneers, Dr. Rizk can repair teeth that are chipped, worn, broken, or stained. On your first visit, the dentist will remove a thin layer of enamel from your natural tooth surface, then take an impression of your teeth and apply temporary veneers. Once your custom porcelain veneers have been received from the lab, Dr. Rizk will bond the permanent veneers to your teeth. With porcelain veneers, you can brush and floss as you would normally. The only change will be a brighter smile and a more confident you.

Minimal-Prep Veneers

Minimal-prep veneers offer most of the same cosmetic benefits as porcelain veneers, but with greater convenience and minimal discomfort. There’s no need to remove the surface of the existing teeth to fix gaps, chips, cracks, or stains. Dr. Rizk offers a variety of minimal-prep options, including feldspathic, Lumineers, Pearls, DURAthins, and e.max. Talk to our team about the minimal-prep option that’s best for you.

Full-Mouth Restoration

Severe decay, acid erosion, illness, or accidents can leave you with damaged or missing teeth. Dr. David M. Rizk and his talented team can help you deal with the most serious dental issues using a combination of restorative and cosmetic services. We’ll work with you to develop a course of treatment that will improve your dental health and get your smile back in top shape.

Crown Lengthening

If you need a crown to cover a damaged tooth, but don’t have enough tooth structure remaining above the gumline to support the repair, Dr. Rizk may suggest a procedure called crown lengthening. Conducted in-house with laser technology, the method allows Dr. Rizk to trim the gum and reveal more of your tooth’s surface on which to apply the crown. If your teeth appear smaller than normal because of a gummy smile, the dentist can use this same procedure to remove a portion of the gum for cosmetic reasons.

Gum Recontouring

If you have a gum line that’s too high or too low, Dr. Rizk can help with a cosmetic procedure called gum recontouring. Using a laser, the dentist will reshape your gums to give you a smile that’s just right.

Composite Bonding

Minor cosmetic issues can become a huge problem if they keep you from sharing your smile. Dr. Rizk uses composite bonding to help with a range of cosmetic concerns including discoloration, chips, cracks, receding gums, or irregularly shaped teeth. The dentist will apply a durable plastic resin, then sculpt the resin to your tooth’s surface. A laser or LED light hardens the composite, and after a final shape and polish, it will blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

Tooth Recontouring

Tooth recontouring is a great way to correct minor imperfections in the surface or shape of your teeth. By sanding away small bits of enamel, Dr. Rizk can repair minor chips, pits, or bulges in the surface of your teeth. Tooth recontouring is also an ideal choice for minor reshaping.

Smile Whitening

Nothing will turn your smile upside-down quicker than discolored teeth. Teeth can lose their gleam for a number of reasons, including smoking, eating certain foods, drinking coffee or tea, or taking certain medication. No matter what is keeping your smile from looking its whitest, the talented team at Dr. Rizk’s office can help. We offer both ZOOM! and Venus whitening systems, and after consulting with you, we’ll determine whether an in-office or at-home treatment is best for you. Let us guide you through our professional whitening process, and in no time at all, you’ll have the gleaming smile you deserve.
