Renew Your Dental Health and Self-Esteem

Damaged or missing teeth are not only harmful to your dental health, they can have a huge impact on your self-esteem, affecting your professional and personal life. Dr. David M. Rizk and his caring team are here to provide the treatment you need, from fillings to full dentures. We’ll handle the work, you handle the smiles.

Fillings

When it comes to cavities, Dr. Rizk firmly believes that a mouthful of metal is not the solution to your problems. If you have existing mercury fillings, Dr. Rizk will remove them using a holistic treatment protocol to protect your overall health. The dentist will then treat these cavities, or any new ones that pop up, with composite resin fillings. Composite resin fillings match the color of your teeth, providing a durable and attractive alternative to traditional fillings. In addition to filling cavities, composite can also be used for minor tooth reshaping. Though we’re proud of our work, in this case, it can be our little secret.

Porcelain Inlays & Onlays

A porcelain inlay or onlay may be an ideal solution if your tooth decay is more extensive but not quite enough for a crown. When using a porcelain inlay or onlay, Dr. Rizk preserves the healthy part of the tooth while removing the decay. The process of fitting, molding, and bonding the inlay or onlay will take more than one visit, but when you leave the office with this durable and attractive alternative to a full crown, the smile on your face will be worth it.

Crowns & Bridges

If you’re missing one or more teeth, you’re probably missing your smile, too. Dr. Rizk can help you find your grin by repairing broken or lost teeth with a crown or bridge. Since no one’s needs are the same, we work with you to determine which option is best for you, choosing from a variety of porcelain options from zirconia to porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM). For your comfort, we can usually use a digital impression system allowing us to get incredibly accurate impressions without any pastes or putties in your mouth. Dr. Rizk will match the color of your crown or bridge to your existing teeth, providing you with a long-lasting, natural-looking smile.

Partials & Dentures

Did you give up on your smile when you lost your teeth? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Dr. Rizk enjoys returning smiles to their rightful owners. Our office provides partials and dentures for patients who need the most extensive restorative dental care. Partials are a good fit if you still have some existing teeth. Partials will not only dramatically improve your look, they’ll also prevent structural damage by making sure your natural teeth stay securely in place. Dentures will be used to replace all your teeth, and though this procedure requires a number of appointments to ensure proper fit and placement, once the process is complete, you’ll have a sparkling smile. Your new, natural-looking dentures will have you whistling a happy tune — not to mention eating your favorite foods — without worrying about embarrassing slippage.

Implants

Dr. Rizk has years of experience placing and restoring implants. If missing teeth or severely damaged roots are causing you pain or discomfort, we can help. Our iCAT CT scanner provides a 3D picture of your mouth, giving us a full and accurate look at the area we need to treat. If you are missing more than a few teeth, we can use an All-on-4 procedure, setting multiple implants at one time, giving you additional stability and durability while helping you recover faster. We’ll worry about the work so all you have to do is smile. Visit our Implant Dentistry page to learn more.

Root Canal Therapy

Two words most dental patients don’t want to hear: Root canal. We understand — you want the toothache pain to go away, but you’re nervous and scared. Now that you’re comfortable in the hands of our compassionate and highly trained team, we want to keep you here. That’s why Dr. Rizk performs root canals in-house. Whether you need work on your molars all the way in the back, your premolars on the side, or your front teeth, we’re here to help. If your tooth is infected due to a crack, deep decay, or injury, Dr. Rizk will remove the infected pulp, clean, seal, and fill the tooth. If a cap or other restoration is needed, the dentist will handle that too — all under one roof. And while the procedure may sound scary, when the infection stops, so will your pain!

Oral Surgery

Dr. Rizk and his team take your comfort seriously. When you’re facing dental surgery — from minor extractions to surgery for impacted wisdom teeth — Dr. Rizk performs the procedure in-house with the support of his highly trained team. Not only do we have the expertise to restore you to full dental health, we also have your best interests at heart.

Technology

Though our office is warm and welcoming, we’re serious when it comes to technology. Dr. Rizk is committed to bringing you the best dental care available through a combination of expert training, compassionate treatment, and high-tech equipment. In our practice, digital x-rays and lasers are everyday tools of the trade. We use air abrasion instead of a traditional drill to remove tooth decay and leave more of the healthy tooth intact. We also feature the iTero Element Intraoral Scanner and an iCAT CT scanner to provide a real-time, 3D picture of your mouth, allowing Dr. Rizk to develop an efficient, accurate treatment plan.

We also use the latest TMJ and bite therapy technology, called a T-Scan Digital Occlusal Analysis System, to measure not only the location points where your bite isn’t lining up, but also the force of the bite at those contact points and the timing of the impact. These are quantifiable data points that can help us analyze your bite issues in ways that biting on old-school articulating paper never could.
